SNV Ghana as part of the implementation of a WASH Project called Healthy Future for All (HF4A) in the Nandom and Lambussie Districts in the Upper West Region engaged the services of our firm to Supply and install 2No. submersible solar pumps and ancillary equipment at Naapaal and Ko in the Nandom Municipality of the Upper West Region.

The three-year project aimed to improve the quality of life for all and specifically increase the number of children under 15 years growing up in a hygienic environment at home and in school.

The scope of works to be undertaken by the contractor shall include the following;

  • Supply and installation of Solar powered pumps
  • Supply, install, and test BH hydraulic head comprising: Flanged Non-return Valve, Gate Valve, Bulk Water Meter, Air release valve, Pressure gauge, Level switch
  • Electrical control panel fixed in Control Distribution Box, with protections for Electrical Voltage Surge, Thermal, Lightening, Phase Failure, Dry Running, Hydraulic Surge, Voltage Fluctuation
  • Solar Panels mounted on Support structure

This project was completed successfully. All objectives were met, and the results exceeded our initial expectations because it was completed in one calendar month. The team worked collaboratively and efficiently, ensuring that each milestone was achieved on time.
